Restaurant review: Le Chaudron, Auray
Michelin Guide!
There is good reason to do some research before selecting a new restaurant to visit. Looking for somewhere special for Steve’s birthday, we also wanted something that would break the bank! This delightful restaurant, Le Chaudron in Auray, was listed in the Red Michelin Guide and had excellent reviews across Facebook, TripAdvisor and Google and looked to be reasonably priced.
Thankfully we reserved, as the restaurant was fully booked when we turned up …. and for good reason too! We had an excellent beautifully presented meal with attentive and careful service, especially taking into account my numerous allergies.
And we know a chef is good when, unprepared for my allergy to milk, gluten and soya, specially prepared this wonderful dessert:
Original French modern cuisine
The photos speak for themselves!!! Pure quality. Lobster is the house speciality with a dedicated lobster menu and an excellent choice of wines.
Exceptional value for money:
