Middle weekend of September
This strangely named music festival with a dancing cow as its logo (why not!) is held in the charming thatched village of Lanvaudan in the Breton countryside.
Terres Fertiles could mean anything! Fertile Land!? Why? But again, why not! There is little reference on the posters, other than the dancing cow with a drum and tiny font that is too small to read driving by, that this might be a rather special musical event. In fact, it is one of our favourites!
Tucked away in the countryside, this delightful village is host each second weekend of September to an array of musicians (jazz, choral, classical, Breton, rock, folk etc) who are dotted everywhere: in the main square, in the church, on the corners, in barns and in houses! And it’s free, although we would recommend that you buy the brochure when you arrive to get the schedule of events.
