The large open plan living area has comfortable seating for up to 12 around the classic large granite fire place with wood burning stove. There is a large 40” flat screen TV with satellite reception covering all the British BBC and Free-to-view channels and French terrestrial channels, DVD player and Radio/CD player.  For your convenience, there are games, toys, books and DVD’s for your entertainment needs as well as free Wifi internet access for all compatible computers. We also provide our Information Pack covering everything you will need to know to get the best from your holiday as well as all the latest tourist brochures. Firewood is included.  In Summer, no air-conditioning is necessary - the cottage is the ideal refuge when it gets hot and in winter the warmth of a wood burning fire keeps the cottage warm and cosy.

Upstairs, there is a classic landing area leading to four, bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people.  Bedroom 1 has a double bed and ensuite shower.. Bedroom 2 has a double bed.  Bedroom 3 has a double bed and Bedroom 4 has 4 single beds. Bedding and linen is included. Cots are available (though please bring your own cot linen)

Downstairs, there is a large family bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet.  There is a separate toilet and a further shower room with shower and hand basin.  The en-suite shower room in the upstairs bedroom has a shower and hand basin. A  hairdryer (compatible with the French electric system) is provided.  Laundry facilities (washing machine, iron and ironing boards) are available in the shared laundry room. Baby baths, changing mats and potties are available on request.

Outdoors in the south-facing private garden there are garden tables, chairs, benches, parasol and barbeque and a separate coffee area.  There is ample parking for 3 cars behind the cottage with additional parking to the top of the premises.  We supply free of charge:

• 7 adult mountain bicycles, 3 child bicycles and 1 bicycle baby seat
• 2 quality golf sets
• 2 pushchairs for toddlers

In the communal gardens sits the recently refurbished pool area. The 2 six metre pools sit side-by-side; fully decked with security fencing. The pools are heated and have an enviable position, enjoying full sunshine from early morning to late evening with incredible views of the forest and valleys from the pool deck.  The water depth is a safe 1.2m throughout - ideal for children. The security fencing fully complies with French legislation and the pools are locked when not in use and a responsible adult in each cottage has a key.

The pools are shared between the two cottages, giving the children the opportunity to make new friends if you happen to use the facilities at the same time. There are ample sun-loungers and we have a collection of "floaty" toys available on site. Having two pools is ideal; often leading to impromptu volleyball matches or a quiet one for adults and the other for the children (or the more energetic grown-ups)! We are also on hand to ensure that the pools are properly cleaned and maintained, enabling you to relax and enjoy your holiday to the maximum.

There are 4 acres of attractive communal gardens and forests - a delight to behold and relax in. There is ample space in which to stretch your legs for both young and old. Besides the heated pools, there is a childrens’ play area with climbing frame, basketball net, swings and slides and in the summer months a mini-football and badminton/volleyball net. Perfect for both the active and not so active!   The pine forest provides an imaginary world for little ones to play and make camps. Help yourself to fresh herbs provided throughout the gardens.

And right on our doorstep are the ancient paths used for walking, cycling and horse-riding making the garden your gateway to the entire countryside.
