We returned to Fuchsia cottage in June 2011, having first stayed there in September 2009. We really had the most perfect holiday, blessed with wonderful weather so we were able to enjoy the pool and the garden for breakfasts and leisurely lunches!

Sue, Steve and Maxine are just wonderful. They are so welcoming and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The information pack that Sue has put together is so comprehensive as everything you need to know about the area, places to visit, markets, restaurants and more is provided.

The cottage is wonderfully clean, cosy and more than big enough for a family of four. The private garden is very pleasant and secluded with outside dining and barbeque facilities and further gardens offers a play area for children and of course the pool which was well used on this visit! The highlight for our children was being able to play with Maxine in the pool every day.

This really is the perfect place to come for an idyllic get away in a beautiful setting. Sue and Steve are wonderful hosts. We have already booked our return visit with the grandparents for next year in Wisteria!

We booked both cottages for a family holiday with our children and grandchildren. We had a fantastic time. The cottages more than lived up to and indeed excelled the photos and blurb in the advertising. They are very clean and well maintained. They have everything you could want in them and more. Sue and Steve were very welcoming and helpful and have gone to a lot of work making up a book of information for visitors which was much appreciated. The pools were a great hit with our family and we were in them or sitting round them every day that we could. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained with lots of room for the children including a play area, football net etc. Amenities for laundry were available and well used! All our family were enchanted with it and would certainly like to go again in the future.

Sue and Steve will get in any basic shopping that you may need, and there are plenty of supermarkets within easy reach to keep you well fed. As we were a large group we did not eat out much at all, but we still enjoyed the local fare, buying from the markets and boulangerie etc. Sue and Steve will help with any questions or needs you may have and we would recommend this property to our friends and family.

We visited the Submarine Museum in Lorient - the museum was a bit disappointing, but going into the submarine was really good fun. Vannes was a very popular town - very beautiful and full of character. We were there for the Bastille day celebrations and it was very colourful with peVannes medieval festivalople dressed up in period costume and dancing and parading in the streets. Well worth a visit. The Pont Scorf Zoo is also well worth a visit, although it rained while we were there. However, weather aside it is a very good Zoo. Another lovely place if the weather is good, is Carnac. We visited the standing stones first and then got a 'free bus' down to the beach. The beach was lovely and the sea safe. The Quiberon Peninsula is another beautiful place to visit and shouldn't be missed when you are in this area.

Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable holiday which we will always remember. We were a mixed group of granny and grandad, mums and dads and young children and we all enjoyed it together.

The roads in France are very good, both the motorways and the lesser roads and the area around Le Crann is very quiet. We enjoyed driving!

We wish Sue and Steve all the best for the future and hope to be back some day to their beautiful property.
